Waited months for a dermatologist appt after seeing a family practice doctor who did nothing, and when I was finally seem in February they began the steriod injections, concentrating on the crown of my head where it was thinning since that was the bigger worry. That continued until we saw growth in that area, and then in the meanwhile another patch had opened, so she began injecting there. Read Full Story Other Treatments Not Currently Using Treatments I have had injections while I was still losing hair over the course of a few months, finally in about 3 weeks it all fell out -- and i had VERY thick hair!! I had already lost my eyebrows and eyelashes, and was treated with the DPCP treatment weekly for a couple of months, now i'm not doing anything for it but wearing a wig, though that gets old quickly. Coping well, not sad, but just still praying it would grow back! I'm told it will take a miracle, but God does miracles all of the time so mine will come! :) See Entire Regimen
