When I learned that antidepressants commonly cause hair loss, I stopped taking them. The hair loss has slowed, but not ceased. There has been no increased regrowth. I have an appointment with a dermatologist in a few weeks, but don't really want to use things like Rogaine which require daily application as I am somewhat forgetful and would probably not follow the regimen faithfully. My depression symptoms have resurfaced a few weeks ago, but I don't want to go back on the medication to start losing hair again.
