At that time-1984- Minoxidil was just coming out. I first went to a group called the thomas group. They sold topicals that did nothing. Then I tried the Minoxidil. Back then a pharmacist had to mix it up and it was sold with a dropper and a glass bottle. It did not really work. I gave it 3 years. But in the meantime I had my first Hair transplant in 1986. My first Doctor was Dr Deyarman. He used to be in Beverly Hills. I moved to Pennsylvania in 1987 and had 2 transplants by Nu-Hart. My head was truly a mess. Read Review   Other Treatments Nizoral Shampoo Biotin Flax Oil I use different shampoos including Nizoral 2%. Helsinki Formula ( I know all of the jokes on this one) It does help my hair look fuller. Keratase, Amenixil. Ookisa, Etc. These are not for growing hair but to compare which ones work best for me. Some are better than others. For example Mane & Tail is not great for me yet others swear by it. Also the Roobios Red African tea shampoo is not great imo either. Thinking of doing PRP in the near future.
