devine's Hair Loss Story
I have telogen effluvium and I have it chronically. I have been thinning for a number of years and have lost probably half my hair now. That is not a real recent photo. It started out thinning from a medication I was on but now it is shedding from my thyroid being in hypothyroidism which started last March. Even though my thyroid is under control my hair is leaving at a quick rate. I went to Mayo clinic and the derm doc told me to use rogaine to try to keep the hair I have. So I have been using it only once a day but it is starting to grow in even after only 2 months. I am happy about that. I am happy to find this site and to be a member of it now and am looking forward to meeting others with hair loss problems.
