I took Propecia about 10 years ago for a few months but stopped due to cost contraints. I had OHS two years ago and am now on Coumadin for life. I've seen my hair loss accelerate dramatically since I started taking the stuff (its basically rat poison) but I have no recourse. I have to take it because my surgery was to replace a valve with a mechanical valve. I'm in excellent health at this point, running 1/2 marathons, exercising 4 or 5 days a week. Now Im thinking about restarting the Propecia regime and and looking for feedback from others who are taking it and to see if there are any other Coumadin users out there who can talk about their experiences with the two drugs.
