I always had a "receded" hairline, widow's peak, whatever you want to call it, but my hair was always very very thick. So as for all of us it was a shock when I started receding more and thinning all over. I started out using nisim shampoo, which made it seem thicker. After about a year I started Rogaine liquid, and I don't know if it halted the loss or sped it up, I would always shed when I was applying it, so maybe I had some allergic reaction, I don't know.
