I started noticing my hair thinning for about 6 months now but it seems to be getting really bad since December 2009. I went to my doctor a few times and she referred me to a specialist dermatologist. I have had numerous tests and they are ongoing and have still not been diagnosed. The specialist has informed me that the most likely condition I have is Telogen Effluvium. I have pretty much been crying every week due to the fact that every time I take a shower or brush my hair, more and more hair falls out and my scalp is more and more visible. My scalp burns about once a week and is very red, which gives me panic attacks. I just feel upset all the time.
