2001: underwent major life crisis and began losing sleep, feeling anxiety continuously, and was under a large amount of stress daily. my later research revealed that loss of sleep reduces nutrients and blood flow to the hair folicle, and stress creates excess amounts of cortisol in the blood stream which reduces the size of the folicle. i began losing hair and a general thinning throughout my entire crown area and hairline took place.
