Hi All,

Month 6 has arrived and i'm happy with my H/T, and still have a few good months of improvement to come!

Got somewhat side tracked of late and a bit too busy to update until now. I've really not been paying much attention to my hair and I feel it continues to improve. I've buzzed my hair down to a grade 4 all over to even the hair length. Scar is still a pinkish colour but is well hidden at this length all ready.

The transplant has not met its objective as yet as the hairline is not solid enough, and the right side is weaker, which is something I know is common and will improve over time and I still have many months of progress to look forward to yet, so it's all good.

These photos show my hair in normal light, natural light and flash, I want my pictures to be an accurate representation of a hair transplant with no cherry picking of photos in dark rooms.

Okay, had a haircut on my unruly and bushy sides which has made me look a 100 times better and I can really see the growth coming through now. Good to my word here are the photos, which are much better taken than previously and at last show a true reflection of where i'm at right now and what I see when I look in the mirror.

Had a grade 5 on the sides and if you look you can see the outline of a line at the back of my head, but my scar is still a little pink and I think i'll be able to go shorter, grade 3 at least when it turns white.

Without further ado

Month 3 has arrived and I'm feeling good about things, seen new hairs popping up, things seem to be taking shape, although I look better than the photographs suggest. Not quite back to pre op but I feel I'm improving every week now so here goes....

At the 2 month mark now and still in the doldrums stage. All normal though, I'll start worrying by month 4 if I don't see improvement. A few of the transplanted hairs are still growing and looking very dark, while I see little hairs sprouting with my 3x magnified mirror, some look dark and some look thin.

Right, finally at 1 month and I'd say definitely in the doldrums. My native hair is starting to grow back, but I'm finding it hard to tell if I have shock loss or not, as the hair is still very short, so I look massively receded. Don't think I'm going to be back to baseline till month 3+

Most of my grafts have fallen by now and in the pics I have applied some emu oil and folligen, which I have just received in the post. My recipient area is getting a bit dry from the minoxidil, and I think this will really help as it's very greasy, full of lipids that are good for the skin and a known anti inflammmatory. The Folligen has copper peptides which are good for regeneration and helping the follicules become stronger. I believe there is scientific evidence for the use of cp's (graftcyte) for bringing on earlier growth and healing.

Got an extra 300 grafts from my strip, which Dr Feller implanted for free, what a guy!

Recently had an 1800 graft transplant with Dr Feller in New York working on zone 1+2+3
