I used Nizoral (ketonazole) shampoo for a while but had a very bad reaction to it and had to stop using it. My hair loss was gradual and fairly slow but accelerated in my 40's and I was obviously going to lose all of it, I tried Schwarzkopf products first, then American Crew which worked better, I now use ProFusion which works better and I have managed to keep the rest of my hair so far. My brothers also have hair loss and my father and maternal grandfather were bald, but my paternal grandfather had a good head of hair.
