She is a beautiful and bald two year-old. Avery was born with a full head of dark hair and it started thinning when she was 6 to 8 months old. She lost her eybrows and eyelashes also but they have come back very thin and white. We have treated her with topical steroids to no avail. Once we gave her oral steroids and this seemed to help stimulate hair growth. After a week the new hair had also fallen out. Our hearts were broken. Avery is the most kind and loving child and we just don't want her to have to deal with baldness. What can we do? What type of doctor do we see. Thanks for listening.
