then at 26 I again had alopecia universalis. I am now 69 and have and am enjoying a full life.
I look back and realize a lot of decisions and the directions I took were predicated on my alopecia. But they were right for me.
My main concern is that children and young people are able to get the support needed to get them through some difficult times. Also that sooner not later there will be a cure not a treatment that will end this heartbreaking disease.
I have to thank many people who supported me and helped on my way to understanding and dealing so I could live a normal life. Teachers, family, friends and most of all faith in oneself will get us through.
