is there a supplement i can take? anything really worthwhile that will help?

Just For Men, thats about it, once you start running out of the pigments, thats it, the hair only grows grey

Wouldn't Tricomin help- seems to help me- but it only reduced grey, didn't get rid of it. If you got Anderson Cooper hair- you better dye it.

If you only have random grey hairs then use a level 2 dye..its not so agressive but still will colour all for about 2-3 months.

Better to have grey hair to colour than lose it. usually going grey is a sign you will lose it much slower..was in my case. My brother went bald 10 yrs earlier and he still has no grey in what he has left now. Mine went grey when he started losing his and I still have a good deal of my hair although its receding now which is why i'm on here....

Colouring it does not damage the hair or the roots (my trichologist told me that). It can possibly weaken the hair strand if you do it too often (aka some women who try a different colour every week).

some guy said borageseed oil reverses that, but I think that may have been an ad posing on here or just someone who does not know.

Although 29 is too young to have grey hair, i have heard from many women that after 35, grey hair is very attractive for a man...i wish i have hair at 35, and i dont mind the color:P

I’ve been applying Folligen and Tricomin for four months on a few gray hairs I’m growing on my beard, and I can’t see any difference at all.

I started to apply Emu oil two months ago. I’ll let you know if it works.

Just to let everyone know, the average age for onset of graying is around age 34 +/- 9 years. So, if you are 25 or older and are genetically predisposed, the incidence of white hairs should not come as a surprise. In addition, just looking around, most balders/thinners start graying later in life because the DHT is attacking the follicles, not allowing pigment change to occur. If you are graying especially on the top of the head and upper temples, I would take that as a good sign.

Folligen has much more copper in it than Tricomin does. Some people claim that it has eliminated the gray hairs they have. Pickart, the inventor of both products, claims that copper does increase the uptake of whatever it is in the body that regulates melanin -- I forget the name of it, but you can see what he has to say in the forum at skinbio.com.

Melancor works for some people, but for some it tends to turn their hair reddish.

You can dye your hair, it's cheap and easy enough to do, but if you leave the dye in for too short a period it will not color all the gray hairs, and if you leave it in too long, it will turn your hair darker than the color on the box of dye.

Another option is Youth Hair or Grecian Formula. These are actually lead-based products but are safe as long as you don't ingest them. They work more slowly than dyes but last longer and won't change the color of your non-gray hair like dyes and Melancor can. They have an odor, however. The Youth Hair cream odor doesn't go away; the odor of their liquid product does go away after maybe half an hour.

I'm 39, and gray hair really started popping out two years ago.
