    Minoxidil and the rain

I am planning on starting Regaine foam next week. I live in Scotland it is a ridiculously rainy place encase you didn't know. My question is, how long does it take for minoxidil to sink into the scalp? Should it be a concern if your hair gets wet by rainfall? In the sense that it will cause the minoxidil to drip down the face, therefore causing harm to yourself?

Most minoxidil dries fairly quickly. I would think after 10 minutes you should be fine.

Negative. It should take approximately 1 hour for the minoxidil to absorb. Boomer there's a difference between drying and absorption!

But when you apply the foam lots of it won't absorb, surely? I.e. the stuff which remains on your hair.

I'm not sure if rain removes it or not. I was wondering because I got caught in a rainstorm last week and got soaked. Thw ater got into my mouth and tasted like rogaine so I'm not sure if it absorbs completely.

Also wonder about this when I work out and sweat.

If you put anything in your hair, it's probably going to come off - at least slightly - in the rain (with exceptions such as wax, waterproof gel etc).

Rogaine doesn't soak into the hair itself, so it must just sit on it until it's washed - or rained - off.

Use foam and you won't have to worry about it. It will dry pretty quick and it wont take that much longer for it absorb.
