    HairlossTalk on Facebook

    Hi all -

Was hoping for some candid feedback on this ...

We were going to be creating a presence on Facebook and I was wondering if you all would feel embarassed to "Like" HairlossTalk there?

(You can "Like" us now if not: http://www.facebook.com/HairlossTalk)

I was picturing a lot of people wanting to support the community that way and get the word out, but also a lot of people who may avoid "Liking" us because they dont want "HairlossTalk" to show to their friends or family.

This may be a big obstacle for the Facebook idea. I have toyed with the option of changing the display name to something less obvious, but nothing really comes to mind. It would be great if there was a "display" name we could give it (something like HLT). But we'd still want it to be searchable as HairLossTalk so it can be found.

Any feedback / opinions would be appreciated.

    Re: HairlossTalk on Facebook

I think it was a good Idea to extend your hand on facebook. First thing is if you continue your account on facebook it you can increase the people that you can help. May be they will be shy to put a comment on it but they can send a message and like the page. If you take the risk you have the chance to gain more people having problem with baldness that is seeking for help. But if you don't take the risk you will gain nothing and even chances? you don't have it so I think it's a good Idea to put a page on facebook and the page is not bad for me. And actually I am thinking that the page is cool so I think you should start posting and sharing the page! By the way you already have one like so start posting on it.
