Hair will not dry at crown, becomes greasy/oily...

Ok, I don't think this actually has anything to do with hair loss, but it's something strange that's been happening to me for the last few weeks. Whenever I get out of the shower, no matter how much I dry my hair, the crown area will not get completely dry. I'm not sure if it's retaining water or oil, but it becomes kind of oily or greasy to the touch. I've tried drying it numerous different ways (patting dry with towel, gently towel drying, vigorously towel drying, even blowdrying), but I always get the same result. It's almost like the shampoo is somehow getting stuck in my hair in only that area. I've been using the same shampoo for years, and only recently started having this problem. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

Same thing happens to me except all over the top. Gets extremely greasy and doesn't wash out started when my hairloss started 8 months ago

I don't think this is the same problem I'm having exactly. My hair loss problem is at my hairline, not my crown. I have no issues with greasiness at the hairline, just at the crown. I'm not even sure it's greasiness, it's like the shampoo is stuck in my hair (it's almost kind of "sticky" to the touch, like I have some kind of product in my hair).

I have the same problem, but my hair gets greasy all over the top.

I think its from the Finasteride/Propecia I've been using.

My forehead gets greasy and my scalp is oily even after I shower, I mean it will dry a bit but my scalp and forehead will get greasy and I don't shower with hot water.

    This sucks.
