How to best apply Rogaine foam?

Hey guys, I know this has been asked a lot, but what do you guys think is the best way to apply Rogaine foam? I'm just switching over from the liquid, and I definitely like the fact that it dries right away, but I'm not sure if I'm actually getting any on my scalp. I'm using it on my front hairline, so I parted my hair in five different places and filled the cap up halfway. I scooped out a little bit each time, but when I applied it to my scalp, it seems like it all just got stuck in the surrounding hair. Anybody have any advice on this? Also, the foam that does make contact with my scalp seems to dry almost immediately and doesn't really give me a chance to "massage" it in as it says in the directions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I, too, have just switched to Rogaine foam for my morning minox fix. I have exactly the same sorts of questions.

For me, it makes all the other minox products I have tried seem like grease and/or glue. The foam just seems too good to be true.

It probably is! I doubt that the foam works as well as the liquid.

Farrel on HLH who has been a minox user for years says its been better for him. Said he got some more hairs to go terminla with the foam that didnt respond that well to the liquid he had been using for years prior.

As somebody here on HLT has pointed out recently, the way they advertise Rogaine Foam leaves a lot to be desired. There's no sound way that they really compare the two...

But Farrell does not use it twice a day. He uses it once a day with occasional breaks. He finds it harsh - for various reasons - and potent I believe.

I am not sure that if you use liquid and after that the foam,you get the same quantity on your scalp,i think the liquid is way more better,but... it makes my hair look like **** after i use it...but if you do something about your hair,i think that it's better to use the liquid.

It seems to me that there are (more or less) the same amount of success stories on here as using the foam as there are using the liquid; does that sound right to everybody? Does anybody think that switching to foam will cause me to lose any ground? Please advise....
