    5 months laser/supplements

I'm 26. 5 month progression. Laser therapy in salon twice a week. Saw Palmetto/stinging nettles/pumpkin seed oil/Niacin B-5/cayenne pepper/biotin specifically for hair loss. Lots of other various multivitamins/minerals/oils for general health.

Planning on adding Tricomin/Nizoral/Head & shoulders to my regiment for now. I used Head & Shoulders for thinning hair starting yesterday and I noticed an instant improvement. Anyone know when the Nizoral will be back on the shelves?

Top picture is the newer picture. Bottom picture is the starting point.

I don't really like the potential side effects that come along with that. I'll probably only resort that that as a last effort. Messing around with my hormones too much doesn't sound appealing right now. I'm hoping I'm getting a similar benefit from the saw/nettle/pumpkin combo that I would be getting from Fin, just less drastic, hopefully.

you say that Fin is a last resort...but it's probably going to be too late when it's "last resort" time. Fin isn't a magic bullet that will reverse all hairloss and make you an NW0 all over again. 40% of fin successes are just MAINTAINING what you have. You might see some added re-growth. Hell, let's say that it regrew 2000 hairs...but 2000 hairs on the scalp of a badly diffused NW6 isn't going to look like hardly anything.

90% of the hairloss battle is simply maintaining what you currently have. Think of those follicles like a heart. Sure, you can use a defibrillator to shock a heart back to life after it's stopped beating, but it's a WHOLE lot easier to just keep it beating in the first place :-)

Well I guess I'll reconsider adding a small dosage of Finasteride to my regiment. How much should I expect to pay and how do I go about getting my hands on it?

Rogaine also scares me some because of the shed and that you have to keep using it forever or lose the hair it grows back. This and my worries about finasteride are all reasons why I was trying to take a more natural approach. Maybe I'm just being foolish and should go ahead and take the plunge into propecia/rogaine. I guess I'll have to think about it more.

    http://www.4rx.com/online-pharmacy/cate ... pecia.html

I've been taking Finasteride from them for the last 3 years. My hair loss went from 200 hairs a day to about 25, so I know it wasn't just a sugar pill or something like that. They have online support for questions, and they told me this: "We have more than one supplier for the same medication and we ship out according to the availability of the stock. We carry generic Propecia manufactured by GenPharma, Sunrise, Cipla and Intas Lab Pvt." They have a price-match guarantee as well, so you really can't get a lower price anywhere.

2 money saving tips if you go there...
1: Let's say you want 90 caps. Add the 30 caps to your cart instead. It will take you to a checkout page, but it will also give you a chance to upgrade your order to 90 pills for $7 cheaper. Same goes for if you want to get 360, add 180 to your cart first
(this only works for the 1mg pills, not the 5mg)

2: Use the promo code Q52EM37T during checkout for another 10% off. That's my promo code that I got for being a return customer, so feel free to use it :-)
(this works for anything you buy there)

Here's my story, so you know that I'm trying to sell you on the product...not the website :-)
    viewtopic.php?f=30&t=65594

(I started at .5mg and 3 years later upped it to 1.25mg recently)

I like the natural approach you're taking.

I don't see a difference in the pictures except the frontal hair being combed differently.

But Keep trying, I guess it takes time to see some regrowth, especially with unproven treatments.

    Re: 5 months laser/supplements

I've decided to discontinue the laser therapy. I'm going to replace it with Rogaine foam, nizoral, and head&shoulers 2in1. I'll add in Finasteride and/or topical spyro later on if progress isn't seen.

I can promise you that you won't see regrowth without adding Fin to the equation. Fin is what keeps your hair follicles from being attacked 24/7 by DHT, which is what kills them off.

    Minoxidil 5% - 1ml twice a day

    Nizoral - twice a week

    Finasteride - 1mg every day

    Re: 5 months laser/supplements

You need Fin or some other 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitor/Anti-Androgen in order to fight DHT and stop it destroying what hair you have left.

Rogaine is a great confidence booster with it's a initial boost of regrowth but essentially it's only good for slowing the clock down on your mpb allowing time to consider your options.

You should try Fin, even just a 1week trial, as the tolerance rate is pretty high. Otherwise try Spiro and/or Revivogen as next to Fin/Dut these are probably the most effective commercially available anti-androgens out there.
