Minoxidil increases the number of follicles that are formed in the Follica procedure according to one of the Cotsarelis patents. It being used isn't evidence of anything shady in and of itself.

... get all their money by being stupid with it. So, that pretty much says it all. I predict all these small venture cap start-ups like Histogen, Follica , Aderans, etc....have only a very small minute chance of actually developing a successful procedure. All we can do is hope for the best.
