Two clinical trials done using Minoxidil covering its effectiveness over 4 and 5 year periods. The unique thing about these studies is that they were done on the well known 2% as well as the lesser known 3% Minoxidil solutions.

Some feel that at the 4 and 5 year marks, Minoxidil showed a decrease in effectiveness, while others consider the fact that it still works at all to be good news. After all, 5 years of results out performs all the unproven treatments on the market today, aside from Propecia.
